Speech-Language Pathologists assess strengths and challenges in communication. Through observation during play, formal testing, and with parent information, the speech language pathologist evaluates understanding and use of language, interactions with others, speech sound production, voice, fluency, hearing, feeding and swallowing. Intervention includes individual therapy, parent training (i.e. Hanen parent programs), and consultation with day care and schools.
