In fulfilling our mission of enriching children’s lives, George Jeffrey Children’s Centre strives at all times to provide its goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. Given the nature of the children and youth that we serve, accessibility is incorporated into our planning, program development and model of services.

The purpose of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) is to improve opportunities for people with disabilities and to provide for their involvement in the identification, removal and prevention of barriers to their full participation in the life of the province.
