George Jeffrey Children’s Centre (GJCC) is actively seeking candidates to fill vacancies on its Board of Directors. We encourage those who are passionate about supporting the advancement of George Jeffrey Children’s Centre to consider submitting their expression of interest.
Who are we looking for?
Motivated and experience individuals who have the skills, passion and vision to contribute to our Mission: Enriching lives by delivering specialized rehabilitative and interprofessional services in client-centred environments.
The George Jeffrey Children’s Centre is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of 5-12 members who represent our catchment area. Board meetings occur monthly, September to June and Annual General Meeting is held in June of every year. At this time, Directors are eligible to serve two terms of three years.
Eligibility
- Board applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Contacted applicants must undergo a criminal background check.
- Directors must be qualified as per the regulations of the Not-For-Profit Corporation’s Act Part IV Section 23.
