FundingChange children’s lives

George Jeffrey Children’s Centre is a registered charity, incorporated under the laws of Ontario as a not-for-profit organization. The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) is the main funding source for ongoing operations of the Centre.

The Centre also operates a fully licensed childcare centre, which is located offsite. Funding for Little George’s Child Care Centre is provided by Thunder Bay District Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) as well as revenue generated by a fee structure for daycare services.

Both George Jeffrey Children’s Centre and Little George’s Child Care Centre depend on donations to enhance programs and the purchase of capital equipment. The continued goal of the George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation is to raise necessary funds to support the efforts of George Jeffrey Children’s Centre.
